Questionwhat is the correct clearance from wall for samsung WF331ANW/ DV331AEW/XAAwasher and dryer placement? COncerned with the depth.what is the correct clearance from back/side wall for samsung wf331anw washer and dryer placement? Concerned with the depth in a small laundry room and how I can make it work.

- Answer The WF331 and DV331 washer and dryer are about 38-1/4" deep when stacked due to the overhang of the dryer in the rear. I would suggest you refer to the attached "Alcove or Closet Installation Requirements" with regard to venting. This information can also be found in the user manuals which can be downloaded as pdf files from Samsung's website. In addition, you'll need to allow space for the vent duct, which would be a minimum of 5" if vented out the rear. You also have the option of converting the electric dryer to vent out the left or right side using the DV-1A side vent kit. For more information, I would suggest contacting your local Best Buy Appliance Associates or installation team. Thank you, Ms. Samsung

- Answer Thanks for the question. Unfortunately, you cannot bottom vent the dryer when it is stacked, so your options for venting the DV331AG dryer if it is stacked are through the back or the left side. - Ms. Samsung

- Answer The SK-5A stacking kit comes with two sets of rear brackets, one of which is basically the same design as the brackets in the SK-3A kit. This is why the SK-5A is compatible with the WF337 and DV337, as well as most other Samsung front load washers and dryers currently available. It's important to note when stacking the dryer on top of the washer that the dryer may need to be lifted a bit to align the brackets with the holes in the dryer. This helps to ensure that there is tension in the bracket once installed which will help to maintain stability and reduce vibration. You may find it helpful to attach the bracket to the back of the washer first, but do not tighten the screws until the dryer is also attached. - Ms. Samsung

Most Samsung front load washers currently available at Best Buy are compatible with the DV350 dryer, and would require the SK-5A accessory for stacking the dryer on top of the washer. If you happen to come across an older model Samsung washer, I would suggest checking the particular model number to make sure it is compatible, or calling 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to confirm it for you. - Ms. Samsung
