• I'm not sure about the Xbox compatibility, but in order to chance the colors on the keyboard you need the steelseries engine, which is on the computer. But the color change ability only works when the keyboard is connected to a device with the engine running.

• Yes, the apex 3 will work on your Xbox. The colors are customizable (on pc) using the program that comes with the keyboard, but the settings you choose will not stay if you set them up on your pc and then plug into your Xbox.
