Yeah I use it for my Ps4 and I think its great. It has options so you can hear your own voice and how loud to be able to hear it so you can adjust it. Best headphones I own to date. Hope that helps. You can check my stream if you like on youtube so you can hear what it sounds like. But everyones voice is different.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All my friends said (without me asking them) that they hear me very clear and better than before.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes, mic is super clear and you can have mic monitoring on to kind of hear what you sound like and how loud you are able to talk.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes the mic is very clear and sensitive. In fact I had to turn my mic levels down a touch on my PS4 when switching to these from my Sony golds. You can also adjust the levels on the game dac amp I believe for extra levels.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mic was very solid and clear, very good for a wireless pair of can, I would say that it may make your voice a little nasally depending on where you position your mic. Very good for streaming and I believe the mic is more clear on PC
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mic sounds REALLY good... my gaming buddies have no troubles hearing me, and the ability to adjust game/chat volume on the fly during a game like Fortnite or Blackout with the GameDAC is great! Sidetone is nice and can be adjusted to low, med, or high - I love that feature.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the mic quality is quite good. I would recommend looking up a YouTube video that does a mic test to hear for yourself.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, although my friends have said the Astro A40 sounds "better." I have no way to quantify what they're saying as it doesn't appear they mean quality, but instead, think that "I don't sound like myself." which would indicate tonality. One thing, related to your question, the GameDAC has a feature which allows you to either hear your own voice, while using the mic, in low, med or high, or it allows you to not hear your voice at all. Switchable, on the fly.
