A:AnswerHere is the warranty information from the Roku web page. I have both a Stick+ and a Roku Ultra with no problems
Limited warranty
Roku warrants the player hardware against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase ("Warranty Period") if used in accordance with the documentation provided with the player. If Roku determines that the player’s hardware is defective during the Warranty Period, Roku’s sole obligation, and your exclusive remedy, will be to either repair or replace the unit with either a new or rebuilt player, at its option. Important information about warranty returns and replacements is available on the Roku support site.
You may also return a player for any reason, subject to the terms of the applicable return policy: 1) Within thirty (30) days from the date of purchase from Roku; or 2) within the applicable return period if purchased from an authorized re-seller or distributor. Additional details regarding product returns can be found on the Roku support site.
A:AnswerYou would need to buy a stick for each TV you want to use the Roku on, unless you plan on moving the stick from TV to TV. Then you might have to sign in each time on the different TV's which I'm not sure that would even work with the same stick.
A:AnswerIt will access all the streaming providers a standard Roku will (Netflix, Hulu, Pandora, YouTube, etc. Too many to list.) You can go online to the Roku website to get a full list.
A:AnswerAdditionally to my question, TV is hooked up to preamp by digital optical cable. It only will process signals in 5.1 standard, will not recognize dts or atmos. The preamp does not have hdmi it was made before that came out.
A:AnswerUnfortunately no. A year ago Tivo announced apps for Roku, AppleTV, and FireTV, but they’ve been either canceled or at best put on the back burner.
If you want to stream your TiVo’s content to another tv, for now you’ll want a Tivo mini. (Though it does work to an iOS or android device)
A:AnswerYou can use the same password on all the Roku devices. --in other words subscribe once to Youtube and you'll be able to get it on all Roku devices, ipad, iphone, etc.
A:AnswerI purchased a ROKU streaming stick + for my LG Smart TV based on my son's recommendation. It works great. He has a VIZIO Smart TV. I think if you have a Smart TV and a HDMI port, you are good to go.
A:AnswerI believe it is, this one works much faster on the scroll up and down for our channel guide. The volume control and TV power features work great. We stream Netflix and have had no problem with it buffering and it hasn’t lost signal degradation yet. We still have our original Roku stick in another room and it works great still, but it doesn’t have the speed as this one with 4K has. Even with our slower internet package (Spectrum is a rip-off for cable/internet) both Roku sticks work great.
