• I believe it is, this one works much faster on the scroll up and down for our channel guide. The volume control and TV power features work great. We stream Netflix and have had no problem with it buffering and it hasn’t lost signal degradation yet. We still have our original Roku stick in another room and it works great still, but it doesn’t have the speed as this one with 4K has. Even with our slower internet package (Spectrum is a rip-off for cable/internet) both Roku sticks work great.

• Mine is a 3810X. I believe 2017 is the first year for the Plus variation.
