I'm sorry I can't answer your question about the Apple Home Kit, but for myself, I also added the floor sensors. The Streamlabs lets you know when water is flowing, but can't tell you where a leak is. It is great for letting you know how much water you are using each day. For the floor sensors, I recommend Govee. Very inexpensive and work great. They have individual alarms and a phone app also.

While you can certainly use floor sensors in addition to your Monitor, please note that StreamLabs does not integrate with any floor sensors and that the Monitor will likely notify you of a leak before there is any major flooding that the floor sensors would pick up on.
