Sunbeam® heating pads are engineered to never exceed 176°F the temperature set by Underwriters Laboratory (UL). Hope this helps!

Set on #5. Anything higher is not comfortable nor safe.

It heats up to level 9, I only use 1-3, do gets pretty hot
