“Can this system work as a stand alone without the internet. Reason I ask I want to set it up somewhere that doesn't have internet. But it will have internet in the future”

Please try again later.Yes, If you are not connected to the internet everything will be stored on the drive and you will only be able to access video/pictures from that location close to a TV. I can connect to the drive via my TV (requires included cable and mouse, longer lengths available) and internet via router (cable included) but I was not able to connect to the drive via wireless or Bluetooth. Even with an internet connection, the way I see it, full consumer access and manipulation can only be performed at the location of the drive unit. When you get the internet, you will have access to updates, app services and added features when/if available, and remote help, if ever needed. I hope this helps. Thanks for reading.
