you can buy extension cables from the Swan website, so the cable can be as long as you need it to be. I added 100 feet to the 50 foot cable that came with it.

You'll probably love this answer... but it depends, out of the box I believe i measured 60 feet. if you used coax instead and found power near the camera you could theoretically go out 1600 feet.

Cables are 60 feet long which would be the farthest away possible to run a camera. I would say you will need some slack towards the dvr end and maybe some slack depending on where you mount your camera. So 55 feet max? Also you have to remember you may have to run the cable up or down a wall which may not allow you to run the camera as far.

Don't quote me on this but believe the cables are about 50 feet.
