Hi John. This doorbell records at 1296 x 1296 pixels, which equates to approximately 1.7 Megapixels. Full HD 1080p resolution is approximately 2 Megapixels, meaning that this doorbell is a fraction less than Full HD. The image quality is still fantastic though and looks great on your phone. You are correct that there are some errors in the resolution showing on this BestBuy page, we will get this corrected. -SD, Swann team.
