• they are hard wired back to the dvr and share a common plug in 12 volt supply

• Cameras require DC Low Voltage. Two adapters are included as well as two splitters that split into 4 outputs. Total of 8 DC outputs. These are plugged in near the security camera. Total of three AC outlets required to use this system. The DV voltage is carried along a cable attached to the video cable.

• they are wired camera's, the cable is two plugs, one is a video type connector and the other a DC power for each camera.
