A:AnswerThanks for choosing Best Buy for your technology repair needs. There should be no need to remove your screen protector before your reservation, but it is best to give us a call at (800) GEEK-SQUAD or (800) 433-5778 to make sure before your appointment. In addition, you can read more about our iPad Service and Repair here: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/apple-service-repair/ipad-service-repair/pcmcat1554832567719.c?id=pcmcat1554832567719
A:AnswerWe may be able to do that, but we’d want to check the tablet out first to be sure. You can visit us online at www.geeksquad.com/schedule to schedule a time to speak with an Agent at the store about this.
A:AnswerYou don't need to buy your screen protector at BB but if you have never installed a screen protector of this type let me offer that it can sometimes be as easy as trying to put Saran Wrap on a dish in a 40mph wind. Although you WILL be able to purchase less expensive screen protectors, I've found that since I only put one on every 3-4 years that it is easier to buy it at BB and ask the staff to put it on for me since they put them on multiple times each day!
A:AnswerIn many cases, yes! You can see if we have an Apple Authorized Service Provider in a store near you, here: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/geek-squad/apple-authorized-service-provider/pcmcat748302046186.c?id=pcmcat748302046186.
A:AnswerWe offer several different glass screen protector options for that phone at different price points, so you'd want to check out one of our stores to see which one will work best for your needs. There is a fee for installation of those screen protectors, as well. We can go over pricing on that in the store with you.
A:AnswerI was told the exact same thing! But no it cost for Best Buy to install the screen protector and they don’t warranty it at all. The only warranty Best Buy gives you is after you pay to allow them to install it is if they mess up they will continue to switch them out until they get it right. Now if something happens to where you need a warranty replacement Best Buy won’t replace it you must go through Zagg. So going forward I will just have patience and install my own screen protectors and then register my product with Zagg
A:AnswerIf you purchased the original screen from Best Buy, paid for the original screen to be installed, and registered the screen protector purchase with Zagg, then you just have Zagg replace the shield under their warranty and bring the replacement shield and packaging into any Best Buy for it to be installed at no additional cost. It's also good to have a copy of the receipt to show the original installation purchase.
