I was told the exact same thing! But no it cost for Best Buy to install the screen protector and they don’t warranty it at all. The only warranty Best Buy gives you is after you pay to allow them to install it is if they mess up they will continue to switch them out until they get it right. Now if something happens to where you need a warranty replacement Best Buy won’t replace it you must go through Zagg. So going forward I will just have patience and install my own screen protectors and then register my product with Zagg
