A:AnswerThe Tablo will receive fewer stations than your smart TV from what ever antenna you are using (do to the splitter that is built in to the Tablo for 2 tuner tuning.) You will need an exterior or roof mounted antenna.
A:AnswerThe number of recordings and airings you can run at the same time, is equal to the number of tuners you have. In this case, a 2-tuner model will allow you to record two shows at the same time. However, you would not be able to watch a sperate airing until one of the recordings have finished or you cancel one of these recordings.
We have a 4-tuner model that would allow you to watch/record 4 airings at the same time.
As for dish fiber, you won't be able to pull in broadcast TV with such. You'd need an over-the-air TV antenna. They are, however, affordable. One of our packages induces a 35 mile range indoor model but it may behoove you to research and see what TV antenna would best suit your purposes
You'll also need a strong internet connection, an ethernet or a wireless network for your Tablo to connect to. Such is for setup and our FAST streaming channels.
A:AnswerHi - unfortunately, the Tablo device can't back up recordings from the Dish Hopper. It's specifically designed to receive and record over-the-air TV signals, so it doesn't integrate with satellite DVR systems like the Dish Hopper.
A:AnswerHi - unfortunately, not at the moment. Tablo needs a steady internet connection to provide live streaming TV and download TV guide data. Thanks for understanding!
A:AnswerYou can get all local channels with Tablo. Just get a quality antenna. You will need to download Tablo on your Roku app after all has been connected. The picture quality on Tablo is excellent.
Eddie:
A:AnswerThis is a response to your answer. I know TV is 1080i I was talking about all the apps like Netflix and all the other crap no 4K like my 10-year-old TV is
A:AnswerI did not have enough room to continue the question. Obviously I would use a portable antenna with it. I would connect to an antenna brought with me to different locations. So the goal would be tp place the tablo and the antenna near a window or area to pick up the best signal and the device would wireless stream the digital TV signal to the device using (tablet, smartphone, TV application for FireTV or Chromecast) in the hotel area or school area.
