- Answer You can get all local channels with Tablo. Just get a quality antenna. You will need to download Tablo on your Roku app after all has been connected. The picture quality on Tablo is excellent. Eddie:

QuestionCan Tablo work in one location & be transported to another location connected to the same WIFI SSID (using a portable router)(so no credentials need to change regarding the encryption key).The only thing that changes is its portability to hotel,school?

- Answer I did not have enough room to continue the question. Obviously I would use a portable antenna with it. I would connect to an antenna brought with me to different locations. So the goal would be tp place the tablo and the antenna near a window or area to pick up the best signal and the device would wireless stream the digital TV signal to the device using (tablet, smartphone, TV application for FireTV or Chromecast) in the hotel area or school area.

- Answer It scans whatever is in range, different cities may have different programming. Tablo doesn’t give everyone the same thing. Remember, this unit gives your antenna a big boost for more channels. You’d only get 40 or 50 without it. We scanned and got 103 channels,

- Answer This all depends on the strength of the TV transmitters in your area. The type and quality of the antenna you use. Example. If you use a roof mounted directional antenna, you will get more channels than if you use a little indoor antenna.

- Answer Tablo's website will help you with compatible equipment. I have a Sony Smart TV that work with Tablo but my second TV is not smart. For this TV I chose to connect a Roku device in order for me to get access to Tablo.
