Hi - no you don't have to enter any credit card information. The app is free.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not recall entering a credit card to download and use the app. I will tell you that I have not used my Tablo after a few weeks of owning it. I had an issue and I was not able to resolve it with the level of Customer Service they offer. Their Customer Service is done all through chats and emails. Sometimes I had to wait over 24 hours to receive a reply. I do not consider that customer service. Knowing what I know now, I would not purchase this item.
