Are any of the Tamron 18/400 being recalled I have a Canon 750D and it is constantly struggling to find auto focus. No one picture ever seems in focus it is fine with landscapes but trying to do birds. Butterflies and dragonflies etc they are always soft. null

I have not heard of a recall. I have this lens and use it with a Canon M5 (mirrorless). It does struggle with birds in flight, especially if they are close to you. I would use a prime lens if you are shooting birds since they will focus more quickly. My Canon 70-200mm, f2.8 does quite well with birds in flight, for example.

I too have noticed this, I shoot raw photos and have gotten good sharpness in post production with DPP 4.4 and Photoshop
