What is the actual weight of this case? I’m a backpacker and find it very hard to believe that this case only weighs an ounce! I’m considering taking my pad on a trip with me to the backcountry so weight is important. null

Yes, it’s as light as it says, yet very durable. My friend has one and she has taken her IPad with this case in her backpack with no concerns about it being heavy.

This case made the iPad much heavier.  I would not recommend taking it in this case if weight is an issue.

The Pro-Tek Case is a bit heavier than 1 ounce. It is 0.90 lbs which puts it at about 14.4 ounces.
