A:AnswerRegarding the distorted sound when first turned on......I had the HDMI cable in Port 3 and it should have been in Port 1 or 2. The set now works great, both picture and sound.

A:AnswerNot sure if this is exactly what you are referring but I purchased HDMI to AV adapter for my SNES mini for an older CRT TV off Amazon. Is a little white box looking thing. They have HDMI to AV and AV to HDMI separately so make sure to get the right one. Hope this helps
