I have XFinity's latest 'cube box' cable router and I have had no issues with my TCL HDMI connections. You can visit your local Comcast/XFinity store to get the latest cable modem router box. It only has 1 white light on front. No other lights or switches. Works great!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There shouldn't be any compatibility issues connecting your Xfinity remote to the TV via HDMI. The TV will display content based on the signal it received. While a non 4K cable box would still look good on this TV, you would not be seeing a true 4K picture unless the content itself has a resolution of 4K. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
