That depends on the Xfinity remote. Take a look at their programming manual for TCL. Xfinity remotes have a wide range of compatibility, so it's a pretty safe bet to think so. But unless you have the Xfinity X1 service, you won't get the same quality from cable that the TV can produce. In fact, using the TV's apps is probably going to give you a better image all around. And the best part is, that quality is included in the TV; you don't have to upgrade to X1. This is an awesome TV. And the built in Roku is awesomer! Once you start to use the built in Roku, you'll start to wonder why on earth you're still on cable. Buy it. You'll love it. It's the TV I recommend to friends and family.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a Dish Network receiver and voice activated remote. The only thing I use the Roku remote for is the smart TV apps (since Dolby Vision isn't supported by Dish's Netflix app). So, if you're talking about just using the XFinity remote for controlling the TV functions (volume, power, etc.), then sure, it'll work fine. Not sure about changing inputs using the Xfinity remote. I do have a few Amazon Alexa devices, and I can control the television using my voice, so that may be an option as well.
