This TV does have HDMI/ARC. I hooked up a Yamaha YAS 108 using ARC and it's now controlled by the volume showing on the TV. It did take a few tries to get everything working but it's worth the effort.

Yes, it does have ARC and it works well most of the time. sometimes there can be a bit of latency (a difference from the time video plays and audio plays) but it’s mostly not noticeable. The tv also has a digital audio port as do most sound bars.
