Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a 60Hz panel it is listed in the specs section. Now all companies with a 60hz usually have a secondary thing that it will give you a clear motion index of 120 or 240 that will allow for better picture without motion blur.As for 1 answer. If for example if you are watching local tv and it broadcasts their channel in 720p it will say 720p the creative pro upscaling will allow this to be upscaled to fit the screen of you tv.Without it it will not fill whole screen on tv.This is all fairly new technology to everyone including me so I've learned and research. The best way i know to get the best is hookup a 4k Blu-ray player. This way you will get full uncompressed video and audio.not like streaming.Best thing i can suggest is to download the user manual at Tcl.com it's free and it will give you all the best informative info you need.I like this tv.And liked it more when using manual.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The box says 120 hertz. But when watching cable, mine says 60 hertz and 720P... this irritates me as I can’t seem to figure out how to upscale to 4K or even 1080P unless I’m streaming which I think is BS. 720P for a 65” is bad in my opinion. Have had mine for 2 days. It’s nice but should be clearer I think.
