Ethernet will give you the strongest connection but I have mine running through Wifi without difficulty
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ethernet Cable runs max Internet Speed you have purchased through your internet provider. Will only stop when you accidentally unplug the cord. WIFI will run based off how good your modem/router is. Always get the best modem router you can afford. The cheaper ones are terrible quality and don't last long before they stop working. NetGear Nighthawk is pretty good. Around $150-$200 I think. Anyone with 3 devices or less will be fine with using WIFI and want internet speeds of basic quality 25mega bites per second. Anyone who games or streams on multiple tvs simultaneously will want better internet... 50+ mega bites per second. IF you are a gamer you likely wont need to read this as you already have 100+mbs speeds most likely. IF you have more than 3 devices, upgrade to 50mbs internet speed if you are having connectivity issues that are a result of too many users pulling from your total internet speed. Best Advice is ask questions to your local best buy geek squad. They are pretty helpful. Do not ask the sales guy at the laptop counter or the random employee walking around because he is younger and probably knows stuff. They probably do not and will likely give you a "believable response." Hope this helps you Bambam!
