“Hi after about 15 to 20 minutes of driving my dashcam starts repeating "GPS Disconnected" over and over again. Is this a glitch or regular known problem? If so is there a way to fix it?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not experience this problem with my dash cam. I do not have the optional antenna, though. do you have the optional external GPS antenna? If not, make sure GPS is disabled in your settings. If you do have the optional GPS antenna, it's possible that the antenna is defective. disconnect the antenna, disable GPS in you settings and see if you continue to get the error message.

I have tried so many different ones trying to get the same for less money but I keep going back to ThinkWare. I would question a couple of things here: 1. Hi enough quality SD card? speed of 10 or better? 2. Firmware updates? Have you checked this? 3. Is it plugged into a cigarette lighter or hard wired? Hard wiring is the best but you might want to double check that the open port used in the fuse box is best for this unit. Is it being triggered by something like a break, or something else? just maybe try a different port. 4. Could be a dirty jack if you're using one with an external GPS adapter. 5. If it's a lemon, I'm sorry,,, this happens even with the best,,, I'd still get it replaced with another thinkWare dash cam. most trustworthy and i've been using them for years in my vehicles. Rexing failed for me, cobra failed for me, numerous brands (unknown) that I bought online for $30 - $50 failed on me.
