I have factory tint on my back window and it does pretty good. I wanna be completely honest and say that I know limo tint is darker so I'm really not sure. It's a really great camera with some good features but I wish I could help more, sorry.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, depending on the degree on tint you have. My rear window is tinted, but only at the factory grade level. Your vehicle would have a much darker grade of tint for privacy. If you have not purchased it yet, do a demo on your grade of window tint first before purchase if possible. I purchased mine had it installed at Best Buy. I would recommend them for there quality of install and at the same time you can see your line of site and viewing capability in real time before the install process is completed. Having the option of either purchasing it or exchanging it depending upon the quality of the video you are receiving in real time. I was able to view the system in the garage and outdoors during the install process to see how the video preformed in different ambient lighting. Good on your behalf for looking out for yourself with all that is going on around you while driving. Good Luck.
