• Made in Korea. No, there is no built in battery. Buy the Hardwire option and it will stay connected using your vehicle battery.

• Made in Korea, still Asia. No battery in there because the sun will hit it and the temp. will be hot. But there is a thermo protection build in. When it's getting to hot it will turn off automatically

• I believe they are in France but I don't know where the cameras are made. They do have a US/Canada customer service number and I was able to get to a real person quickly and he wasn't foreign. He was pleasant and very knowledgeable.
