Yes, it will take a standard Sandisk Microsd card!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use a Sandisk in mine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am currently using a 128gb SanDisk Imagemate Plus micro sd card in mine with no problems. I was confident to try this one since it is specifically made for cameras to shoot in steady 4k, Is UHS-1, shockproof and heatproof similar to what the Thinkware brand boasts.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's common advice to avoid SanDisk cards for devices like this. Beyond that, other cards SHOULD work, but there's no guarantee because as odd as it seems there are differences between different brands of cards. I believe Thinkware has a recommended card list on their web site.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi There, Please be advised that Thinkware memory cards are highly recommended as it is the only brand that is guaranteed to be compatible with our dashcams. Even though non-Thinkware brand memory card meet the microSD card requirements, each manufacturer uses slightly different file settings and systems that varies between batches. As such we cannot guarantee the performance or recommend non-Thinkware brand memory cards with our products.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have an older model Thinkware camera (H50) and tried using a larger SanDisk micro SD card. I did work for a little while, but eventually the video that would record would get corrupted (pixels and lots of chop and cutting out) and I would have to reformat the card often for a temporary fix. Calling Thinkware, that don't recommend using other manufacturers cards because they become corrupted from the constant replacement of the oldest file to make room for the newer files (i.e. recordings). I put the 8GB card that came with my cam back in it and I haven't had a problem since. If you want more storage, I would recommend buying a genuine Thinkware card.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depend on the batch of the cards. Some will work but some will not. I tried a SanDisk but this F200 does not accept it and says "memory card is not compatible". The thing is Thinkware card provided with the purchase is only 16gb.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I happened to have a 32gb Samsung micro sd lying around the house, I was able to use this with no difficulties.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, the SanDisk Ultra did not work, neither Transcend, nor Samsung. I read that some worked in the past, like Lexar and SanDisk, then Transcend, but neither works now. I purchased my camera in September, and still can't find a card to work with it, except the original Thinkware. Very disappointing :-(
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will accept others. I use a Sandisk Ultra 128 GB and it works well.
