Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Installation is about wiring, not attaching it to the windshield. Attaching it to the windshield is simple. The wiring isn't extremely difficult but requires basic automotive wiring skills and doing it incorrectly can drain your car battery. Also, the wiring is only necessary if you are going to hard wire it (instead of using the lighter socket) so the parking mode will function.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is very easy to install, it has a double sided tape to mount the cameras. There are some additional tapes provided. You can install it at home, it will take a few mins. You can plug in the camera using the cigarette lighter plug, or hard wire the camera. If you decide to hard wire the camera you do have purchase the wiring kit. The advantages of hard wiring is you can record when the car is parked and it looks a lot cleaner.
