No...it is only a front facing camera with 140 degrees of sight. There is a separate rear camera add on, but that only sees out the back window. The sides are NOT visible.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You have good frontal visibility built in. There is an optional rearview camera that you can purchase. That would cover front and rear. But the sides are blind. An impact will cause an event recording. Someone keying the car not so much.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.In theory the answer is no, unless you have the camera facing to the side of the vehicle. This will require some creativity mounting it somewhere else. The field of view is definitely less than 180 degrees, so if the camera is mounted on the windshield you will not see the side doors behind. Also the camera lens can be adjusted to find the horizontal plane but not side to side. So again, if mounted on the windshield you will not be able to turn the camera sideways.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It covers a wide angle of the front of the vehicle but will not catch the sides or rear of the vehicle. Rear view requires a separate camera unit. My 4Runner would be a pain to wire for the rear camera since the rear window rolls down.

Please try again later.If your car was vandalize 3 times! then the best way to protect your car, or any type of vehicle by installing VIPER through Best Buy, when the bad guy see the sticker of VIPER on window and the BLUE Light Blinking they dare won't come close to your car. There are different levels of VIPER it depends on your choice which one you want -least to most expensive. But would suggest to install VIPER for they come with two remotes one on your car key chain so if someone tries to break it will make a loud sound on your car key chain and you will know immediately that someone was trying to break in or touch your vehicle
