This device requires a mobile hotspot from phone or jetpack in order to use cloud features.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Good question. I tried for almost an hour to get mine going with my iPhone hotspot, and it kept failing. What finally did work, was connecting my cars wifi feature to my phones hotspot, then turning my car into a hotspot (yes I had 2...TWO...hotspots going). Its a pain in the butt. If I could get it working with my homes WiFi, it would be a game changer!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Cloud backup??? The cloud feature is not intuitive. It is advertised as a way to monitor location of the car. I don't see anything that says it will upload to the cloud. You can remove the SD card or load it to your phone's memory. The latter is very slow as these are pretty large files.
