“I have had a problem in the past with my friends being enable to hear me in the Xbox live party. Does anybody know if this controller has a problem with mic compatibility, I have never owned a wired controller that is compatible with my mic.”

I'm pretty sure it would work with any headset/mic that is a standard 3.5 jack like the controller that came with your Xbox. I found that it worked better with mine. It even has volume controls, including mute, right on the controller. I use it in Rocket League and it is top notch!
