• For the over the air features only, very little data is used, just the guide being updated is all the internet required

• Very little is needed for the guide. If you use any of the streaming apps however, It will use a ton. Good luck I love my OTA

• I did not get working my tv does not have an app. to support it I had to buy a Roko to use it and I could not get it to work. Took it back to the store and bought a Tivo. It was easy to set up and works fine.
