• Buying the device is it’s own cost. The antenna in order to get on air channels is it’s own cost. The TiVo service is available in various cost options, and you can make a one time payment of like $250 for unlimited access... no other costs... but I didn’t have the up front amount available, so I’m going with the $8 a month option.

• This price does not include the lifetime service, it currently costs $249 and stays with the DVR, which makes it more valuable if you ever decide to sell it. You can also sign up for a monthly fee of $7 or a yearly fee of $70.
