I purchased the TiVO OTA 1GB 6 months ago, still have yet to connect/get rid of cable, but my question is, I know this needs a subscription, if I add another TiVO OTA 1GB to a different room, do I pay another separate subscription for that unit? null

Yes, you will have to purchase another subscription. Consider buying the Tivo mini Lux, it will allow you to extend your main Tivo to your other TV & you do not have to pay for another subscription. I have a Tivo Bolt connected to my main TV and a Tivo mini connected to my secondary TV and this setup works for my family.
