• When you activate the TiVo you will have options to get service monthly or yearly. I went yearly it was 69 dollars approximately

• I had to return mine because I have infinity cable, and I was told I need to go through them for their own dvr system

• Tivo is the service provider. You have to call them to activate tivo box.
