Is this a smart tv null

This is not a smart TV, this is a TV that allows you to stream from other devices (tablet, phone, laptop etc..) if the chrome cast will allow. Very poor substitute for a smart TV.

We just bought on and yes it is a smart TV, you operate the aps thru Google Chrome cast, no problem there, can easily get to Netflix etc. The picture is very good,

Smart TVs use only the TV remote for streaming of web sourced video. This DOES NOT do that and is NOT a Smart TV like LGs or Roku - branded TVs. You cannot stream 4K and you MUST control the streaming from your linked smartphone or tablet. I am not sure why Chromecast is still a product- very antiquated transitional technology from before smart TVs.
