“DId anyone have issues with the switch not getting an IP address? I'm trying to use both the TP-LInk easy configuration utility and just trying to get to the web UI but nothing is working. Did anyone have something similar?”

Hi! The TL-SG1024D is an unmanaged switch, so it will not have a UI or management IP address.
