Do I need a modem to use ? null

I have frontier internet and do not have a modem.

The only time you truly need a MODEM is when you your internet provide by a cable service. Other services may need some for of interface, but not a MODEM. DSL is probably the only type of service that you can plug directly into this Router. I have a line of sight service where the signal comes into into an antenna, The signal is converted into a form that is recognizable by my Router and Computer. Basically, it is just a filter.

Hi! For Internet access, the router must be connected to an existing Internet source via Ethernet cable. Depending on your Internet service provider, that Internet source may be a modem. Please verify with your Internet provider.

This a tri-ban router has bought. But you need a service provider to used this ...example I have Comcast comes with a router paying for faster internet slow me down my internet because the games butyou add this to your internet provider will help you to your internet go faster specially you are playing games or using the wifi or internet.
