“Will this unit work for an outdoor security camera? I'm having trouble getting a good wifi signal outside, even though the distance between the router and camera is only about 25 feet. There are a few walls in between though.”

Hi! As long as your outdoor security camera connects to your router, and not to a proprietary hub, it should be compatible. As for improving connectivity, there are various factors that will come into play and determine whether a strong enough signal will reach your camera's location. For example, the multiple walls will likely be one of the biggest contributing factors, depending on their construction material (e.g., drywall, concrete, etc.) Another factor will be which Wi-Fi band the cameras connect to (2.4 GHz vs. 5 GHz). If, for some reason, the Archer AX3000 Pro does not provide ample connectivity for your specific needs, we would suggest considering one of our Deco Mesh Wi-Fi Systems to provide whole-home Wi-Fi coverage.
