Can this be added to a mesh system? null

No, this is not for mesh networks

Technically yes, but we do not recommend it unless you are talking about EasyMesh or OneMesh. Any other Mesh system like Deco, or 3rd parties will allow a Range Extender to connect to it but it will not be part of the Mesh network. It will be a separate SSID and may affect performance on the Mesh network. You would be best off to just add another node to the Mesh. For Example our Deco will allow any model of Deco to be added so just look for a 1-pack of a desired Deco and add that. I am sure other Mesh systems are similar.
