You can keep the same network names if before you save the name it creates click on it and erase the ext on the end and then save . It will route one 2.4 network and one 5.0. So no guest network. We have had no issues with our security cameras dropping out, or streaming HD quality movies.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It only have me setup the 2.4 and 5. It suggests that you add ext at the end of the SSID's but you can remove it and it maintains the passwords. I did not really check for bandwith loss. Hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it can. You have the option to set a separate/custom SSID for the extender during setup, or have it copy/clone the router's. It can extend one 2.4GHz and one 5GHz network. It cannot extend both the main and guest networks simultaneously - just one or the other.
