Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, this device plugs directly into the wall, There is no cord. It is strictly wireless. You set it up with an app you download on your phone. You are able to name the networks the same as your home network- don’t have to use the ext on end of name. . It works well for us . We got it so security cameras located farther from router got better signal. It was easy to set up also.
