“This is probably a dumb question BUT....is this a modem or router or both? I am looking to replace my modem from optimum but i already have a wireless router.”

Hi! The Deco X90 is a Mesh Wi-Fi System designed to perform the role of a router in your network while providing seamless coverage throughout your home. You will still need a separate modem if your Internet provider/plan requires it, to use in conjunction with the Deco, since the Deco X90 is not a modem.
