I currently have a mesh network with tp link deco m5 and I want to extend it with deco X90. Are they compatible? null

You would want to redo your network with the X90 as the primary router (or at least primary wifi node) and then add the Deco M5 units onto the network after that. Otherwise you will not get the higher speeds in the areas covered by the X90 units.

According to the TP-Link: ll our Deco models can work together. Under some circumstances, we have more than one Deco models (Deco M5, Deco M9 Plus, etc.) in hand and want to use them together in one network topology.
