You set them by a timer which goes by the current time and they will turn on and off based on the times you set.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Dawn and Dusk settings are based on Location and Time settings applied through the App. I am unaware of the difference between dusk/dawn and Civil dusk/dawn so I can't answer that part of your question
