The Kasa is an on/off Alexa and Google home smart plug. It does NOT allow for dimming a light. Choose an LED smart blub A19 - for smart use and dimming with Alexa and Google home. They are less expensive per unit and you do not need the plug. You can just use the smart bulb. There are several bulbs to pick from. The one reason to buy the Kasa is to use less expensive bulbs. But, again, no dimming with that option with the Kasa. I started with Kasa’s for lights and have switched to the GE A19 lED Smart bulbs in order to dim my lights. Good luck.
