• if you have use Apple HomeKit in your house and Philips Hue Bridge, and Philips motion sensor, you can set up an automation in Homekit to trigger the TP-Link Kasa Plug

• Google Home App has an option to turn on presence sensing that might be able function in the way that you are looking for. Not sure how accurate it is. Apple HomeKit has the same feature I believe if you set up scenes for the plug, for example you can set it to turn on to 70% light when you arrive home or turn off when you leave home

• Pair with a Kasa camera which can be used as motion sensor as well. I use that to control other Kasa smart plugs.
