It has has unlimited recording. I added a card to mine. You can choose the free use of app to notify.and 3 day storage. Also has fairly small monthly fees to add extra extra storage to cloud.

Can record as much memory as you give it, but you also don’t have to record any, can be used for live watching as well. 

It’s always on and sends immediate notifications when motion is detected.
