“What's the record length time? Also, does the device turn on once motion is detected? And will it continue to record as long as there's motion before shutting down on phone . I need more than 30 sec max recording times.”

It has has unlimited recording. I added a card to mine. You can choose the free use of app to notify.and 3 day storage. Also has fairly small monthly fees to add extra extra storage to cloud.
