The camera is attached to your home wifi and transmits to your phone over data or wifi, whichever you're in range with. We were able to see prospective buyers arrive at our home from across town and know exactly when it was safe to return home. We could also hear what they thought of the house even though they were outside and the camera was on the windowsill watching the front door. The sound was quite clear.
