A:AnswerYes you can. I have two of them each location has two other switches in the box. I'll attach the images of the locations so you can get a better idea of how they will look. One thing to note is that these switches only come in white (as far as I know). If your house is like mine, we have mostly almond-colored switches so these TPlink ones stick out like a sore thumb. But this does not really matter to us. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerNot straight out of the box. It uses the Kasa app. According to this blog, there is a way get the switch to work with Smart Life through a hub or by configuring a cloud to cloud connection, but I haven’t done it.

What I have done is use Amazon’s Alexa to integrate my Smart Life, Kasa, Bond, and SmartThings devices. The Alexa app or voice commands serves as my consolidated smart device control, and I rarely use the other apps.
A:AnswerYou can use standard Wall Plates, Most of the wall plates that i came with it for me have stayed in the box as they dont match the rest of the house.
A:AnswerYes it will operate a ceiling fan. The switch is bigger than a regular one so we had to buy new wall plate that had deeper sides so the wall plate would fit flush against the wall. We installed the switch in a triple switch setup (one Wifi switch and two regular).
A:AnswerYou can turn the switch on and off both with wifi and by pressing the switch itself. Additionally, when the switch is off there is a small white circle on the bottom of the switch that is illuminated showing the physical location where you touch the switch to turn it on.
A:AnswerWhat I believe you're asking is how many watts does the switch itself draw. To my surprise it draws 0.3 amps at 120 volts. This is written on the box in small print. I tried to also find a discussion about this online, but could not find anybody else that discussed this.
I did the math and determined that the switch draws as much power as the 3 bulb fixture I bought to control it. In other words, if I left my fixture on all year long it would cost the same thing as having that switch installed in my house for a year with no fixture connected to it.
